Long time gone

Well. I haven't been here in awhile. It seems that with my discovery of facebook (crackbook), blogging rapidly lost it's charm. I wonder how many other blogs suffered the same fate as mine? But I'm back, for now at least! With my recent graduation after 3 years of post-secondary torture, I now have two months of blissful free time on my hands before I return to work in April. I'm well aware that this will likely be the only time in my life, at least until I retire, that I will have two entire months to myself- no commitments, no stress, no obligations. I intend to fully enjoy these months. With all of my newly-found free time, maybe I can try my hand at crafting the occasional witty, informative blog post. Or at the very least, maybe I can make inane comments about the ridiculously cold weather that is keeping me indoors for most of the hours of the day. I've become a regular reader of a number of blogs, and I've often wished that I could join in some of the blogging tomfoolery that a number of my favorite bloggers participate in. And what better time than the present? Let this be the beginning of a whole new 10.19.

I also just realized that my blog design is perfect for February... I have a built-in Valentine theme! And while the pink hearts may be rather inappropriate for most of the year, right now it suits me just fine.
