all we are saying...

i just came back from a john lennon memorial at the legistative building... it was cold. people drank beer out of pepsi cans, sang lots of songs and said some words that i'm sure were meant to be heartfelt but came out sounding a little.. off. "john lennon, i love you man... i mean i'm only 17 and i just heard of the beatles last year, but your stuff really moves me, too bad you're dead. peace. smoke reefer!! yaaaaaaaaaaaah!" that was basically the jist (gist?) of it. i know they really mean well.
